The post soccer 'breakfast' run is a HUGE part of our Saturdays. Its post match celebration or sometimes comfort 'eating" depending on the result of the day! Either way after waking early and sometimes driving an hour away tummies are rumbling by the time we head home!
Great interiors with an inside outside option, Uliveto Cafe has ample seating with a great atmosphere.
Uliveto means Olive Grove, being a mad olive lover this is my kinda place! A warm and inviting ambience with a mass of olive trees mirroring heritage buildings. Staff bustle in and out on a busy Saturday morning we were seated immediately. This inside, outside space accommodates a large crowd easily.
A good coffee is the first impression and I love a bit of love action on my froth!
Like Goldilocks and the three bears we all eat from the largest to the smallest. Scrap that the boys are overtaking me with wanting generous portions! Hubby tends to go for the traditional egg and everything breakfast. He ordered the big breakfast which is 'super sized' breakfast with two eggs, chorizo, bacon, grilled tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms and sourdough toast! No ways you are going hungry here!

Mumma bear aka me is always looking for a 'healthier option' so the words 'Healthy Breaky Special" was music to my ears! Roasted pumpkin, Hawaiian sweet potatoes,avocoda, poached eggs, soy leans sourdough, toasted pine nuts and a drizzle of vino cotto. The dish was certainly theatrical in appearance and being a food stylist I can appreciate the flare. Could have done without the purple sweet potatoes taste wasn't on point. Otherwise the dish had sweet, crunch and a combo of healthy bits that I like!

Youngest son often orders a more lunch style dish. I was thrilled that the specials run 'all day' not one of the cafes that only serve the lunch special from 12pm. A delicious lamb souvlaki served with greek salad, pita bread and tzatiki sauce. He wolfed it down in seconds.

This cafe is abuzz with a great vibe, what really won me over being a mad dog lover is the pet friendly aspect. We love our furry friends to keep us company especially if we are dining alone. Spotted a lovely lady with her cute pooch.

Healthy Drinks Options
The healthy drink option is key for me I love a freshly squeezed juice. Youngest son ordered the strawberry smoothie he would have wanted it to be slightly sweeter I had a taste and have to agree!
